So, we’re doing an interview together

Hi there! My name is Wes, and I’m really looking forward to our interview. Thank you so much for taking the time to be part of this—it means a lot.

We’ll be using a platform called Riverside.fm to record. It’s super easy, but I wanted to share a few tips so everything goes smoothly.

If you're joining from a computer, please use Google Chrome—it works best with Riverside. If you are a mac user, there is also a desktop app you can download (see instructions below.) If you're using a phone or tablet, no worries! Just download the Riverside.fm app from the app store beforehand.

You do not need to make an account of any kind for our interview.

Try to find a spot with good lighting—natural light or a lamp aimed at your face is great. The brighter the better!

If you’re joining from your phone, please make sure your screen is unlocked when launching the call, and hold your device in horizontal/landscape mode for the best results.

Also, feel free to use headphones if you need to—but if possible, try not to use big over-ear ones. In-ear headphones (like AirPods) are totally fine and less distracting on video.

And of course, if you have any questions or run into trouble, I’ve got you. Looking forward to chatting and helping tell your story well!
