Jemila Pratt is a dedicated educator with over two decades of teaching experience. Currently in her 22nd year, Jemila teaches high school English to ninth graders and an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) course for eleventh graders. A newcomer to high school teaching, she previously spent years working with middle school students. Jemila is passionate about fostering connections with her students, creating safe and inclusive spaces, and helping them navigate their academic journeys toward future success.
